Tbridge®

Introducing the “Edge Cache Model”

Since fiscal 2024, Japanese schools have been rolling out digital textbooks and learning materials. Accordingly, there are concerns that when multiple students access digital content all at once, this can overload internet connections and slow down access. For this reason, we have prepared a model equipped with an edge cache function that can temporarily save (cache) digital content on “Tbridge®” and reduce internet traffic.

Introducing the "Edge Cache Model"

How the Edge Cache Model Works

Content acquired from distribution servers for digital textbooks, etc., is temporarily stored (cached) on “Tbridge®”. When a students accesses the same content, it is served from the cache on the school’s local network, which reduces the load on the internet line (external line). This creates a stable environment for using digital content, including digital textbooks.
